Mission:
En Gedi Vineyards is a family owned business built on a foundation of faith and family. Our mission is to provide our customers with the finest fruit produced in the Gulf Coast Region of Texas.
A Uniquely Distinctive Terroir
Situated in North East Milam County, En Gedi Vineyards is nestled into the rolling hills along the Brazos River Valley. A deep, fertile, well drained, sandy loam topsoil sits over a red mottled clay subsoil providing an ideal bed for wine grape production. Ancient petrified trees buried throughout the vineyard provide a unique minerality, enhancing the character of wines produced with our grapes. Ample rain, gentle southern breezes, and plenty of sunshine ripen the fruit to perfection.
Our Vineyard:
The vines are planted running North and South on a Geneva Double Curtain (GDC) system to compensate for their vigorous growth and to maximize early morning sunlight and afternoon shade during the growing season.
Vineyard is on FM 979 between Cameron and Calvert. 4 miles from the Brazos River.
