The Cameron Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with 44 Farms to kick off a great day of Steak, Stein & Wine Festival event on October 15, 2022, in downtown Cameron.
A delicious Ribeye steak dinner with all the trimmings--our own local beef producer, 44 Farms--will be served on Saturday evening beginning at 5PM. And 6:30PM. Steaks will be prepared by Trey Felton, owner of Thorndale Meat Market who has been featured in Texas Monthly. This will be a true farm-to-table event, with seating outdoors under the stars! Cameron Car Club Kicks off at 9AMwill a Car Show with other downtown activities, with a grand display of beautiful antique vehicles. Last year there were over 60 entries!
Cornhole Tournament organized by Javier Torres, registration 1:00 to 2:00, games start at 2:00PM! Bring your lawn chair and get ready for some great games!
Downtown will burst open with a variety of artists displaying their works during our Art Walk located in recently renovated buildings at 101 W Main & 206 S Central. Other vendors, crafters, Farmers Market, Pies for Polo, and Archery will be around the square and games for young and old alike.
Jazzy J’s, Hot Corner, and Yoe Dawg along with others will have food available for sale. Yoe Dawg will be selling 44 Farms Hot Dogs & toppings! Kona Ice will be on hand, as well as a new Coffee Wagon!
Local wineries, En Gedi Vineyards, & Triple C Winery will be selling Texas wines. 5 D Travelin Tavern will feature Cocktails, CAB will be selling Craft Beers and more!
Game Zones for young and old alike will feature many different games and activities available throughout the day. Cameron Rotary Club will have a booth Pies for Polo
Music will be performed throughout the day starting out with Rocking with the Oldies by the Cameron Car Club. Then later the hitting the stage are some newcomers, Lorin & Steve, Folkloric Dancers, Milam Community Youth Theater, KCD Band, Alexis McLaughlin as recently seen on The Voice, and ending with street dance
