Event Description:
A cancer benefit will be put on for Gary Lawson on Saturday, March 31st at Seaton Star Hall. Proceeds from the benefit will go toward sending Mr. Lawson to a Cancer Treatment Center in Tijuana, Mexico.

Here is a short update on his condition:
Mr. Lawson was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Bone Cancer after fighting the Prostate Cancer he was originally diagnosed with. The doctors gave him a life expectancy of 5-10 years three weeks ago, however after making a trip to the ER upon realizing that his kidneys were not functioning on February 5th that time frame has drastically changed. The doctors have now informed him that the chemotherapy is not helping his kidneys, it is doing just the opposite. This cancer is terminal and aggressive. Doctors are running out of ideas aside form Chemo and Radiation which are both harming more than helping. The doctors went from the original 5-10 years to 3-6 months on February 6th. We do not believe that America has the answers we need. We believe that he has many more years ahead of him if provided the opportunity and we want to send him to Tijuana, Mexico to a Cancer Treatment Center with proven success for cases like his.
