5th Annual "Steak"Tober Fest 2018

Welcome to the 5th Annual "Steak"Tober Fest in historic downtown Cameron, Texas. 

Cameron Chamber of Commerce and Working for Cameron are hosting a "Steak"Tober Fest Steak Cookoff Association competition.  Working for Cameron is sanctioned by the SCA and the winner of the Steak Cookoff will win an invitation to complete in the championship cookoff.  50 Steak Cookers are anticipated to participate.

In addition, the Chamber of Commerce will be selling 44 Farms Ribeye Steak Dinner tickets, with baked potato, salad, homemade bread, homemade dessert and tea/water.   Tickets will go on sale later at the Chamber of Commerce 254-697-4979 or email steaktoberfest@cameron-tx.com to purchase tickets.

44 Farms will be on site with 44 Farms Products, demonstrations and information about their Angus Beef operation located in Milam County, a family operation since 1909. 

Included in the festival, Artist's will have pottery, stain glass, paintings, metal and wood work, jewelry, homemade breads and other artisans with art for sale. Local Artists will be Pamela Neeley-Neelye Studio- Donald and Peggy Pimpler with Endangered Species Studio- Micah Simmons with Boondock's Metal Work's to name a few.

Crafters will set up in the square with their homemade items.
Adding Antique & Collectible Vendors this year in the square as well. 

Wineries will set up booths for your sipping enjoyment with wine pairing and history of their vineyards, to add to the enjoyment of the day's events. We will feature Cameron's En Gedi Vineyards. 

Music and fun will start Friday Night to include Hometown Friday Nights downtown, with music, food, art, wine and beer.
All genres of music will be on all corners of the square, from Polka, to country, rock n roll, jazz and bluegrass. Event  will help kick off the Haunted House early opening at 8PM that evening.

Saturday night will conclude with a Street Dance.
